When and how do they arise?
In 2005, thanks to a mutual friend that brought us together after all realized that we would have been a good couple, musically parlando.Poi from work was also born a beautiful friendship between us.
about you Martina. You have studied and still studies modern song, you're graduating from the "Foundry of the arts in Rome. He also teaches ... but it seems that you do not want to stop here! That experience has been that the school of Rome?
Yes, they are still studying the idea that when you have to do we do not end with the music live and learn and grow. The "Foundry of the arts" taught me so much ... I owe everything to Annamaria Di Marco, my singing teacher that helped me understand the magnitude of what we have in our souls and how they take it out .. It helped me look inside .. to know and understand what my emotions ... to understand that at the bottom of the technique is dictated by the heart, our soul and what we are ... For me she was a mother and a friend before being a teacher. . It 'been a path psychologically very difficult but all the teachers I have trained hard and with discipline in this difficult profession. I thank them all very much.

Which artists have influenced you most and who inspires you?

I always heard a lot of music and many different genres, but first of all I have to quote the great Stevie Wonder, my daily inspiration!! And 'thanks to him that I approached the black music and I love her so much. Then I always am inspired by the greatest voices of Soul all times as Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Giorgia, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Incognito (and so on and so forth) ... Since we specialize in Black music I also say that the study of the Gospel songs influenced me a lot, having depth not only the voice but also the history and culture of African-American, it's like I checked into getting into their world, if only briefly, one of them. In this way, I fully understood the origin of their deep expressiveness ... and that is precisely quell'espressività always try to convey to the public ..
But you're a self-taught on the contrary, Simon (very good) but can boast an extensive musical experience .

I have a background of nature ...... decidedly unplugged, I hear much feeling in context "electric", but my first experiences are born in a "noise". Before taking part in various competitions in fact with the formation of various kinds, typically rock - blues - soul, etc. ... (With which they perform songs of English and American repertoire: Toto, James Taylor Quartet, Queen, Beach Boys, Stevie Ray Vaughan and many others ...), I've played in several local events and, in duo, guitar and only entries. Among the various groups, within which I fought, I would mention the Live On , rock quartet - blues, the Lady Mirdath , rock quintet (with whom I got the 2nd place among 15 bands competing in a local contest, with a jury made up of the best guitarists in Italy) and of course the Royal Circus , my last training, with the which I made a cd (The Show), songs of our composition, receiving acclaim in Italy and abroad. For the rest, here are dedicated (full) to my work as a singer and guitarist in the ..... Flesh & Wood!
also for you the same question I have for Martina. What are your favorite artists?

Well, one of my favorite artists, as well as sources of inspiration, definitely put it: Toto, Toto, Toto & ..., Queen, Aerosmith, Supertramp, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, America, Europe, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Sting, Bon Jovi ..... the country .... In short, a bit of everything "and more than "...., of course, guitarists such as Steve Lukather, Van Halen, Knopfler, Tommy Emmanuel, Bettencourt, Michael Hedges, Eric Johnson, Brian May .... and so on and so forth ....
With Martina formed a nice duo really well together. What is the recipe for mixing the two styles so perfectly?

Well, certainly the share some similar tastes and views of this world ... and feel the "groove" into each other! It 's like a journey that stops at every station! And 'the way you can melt such as a piece of rock with a jazz arrangement of character ...
often played live and with only guitar and voice. What is the experience that you remember with great satisfaction?

It must be said that when there is an audience that gets excited every experience is always important ... I have to mention "primarily" to our concerts "Ferriera" , a well-known Tuscan residence where we play often and we always come into contact with an audience from from all over the world .. feel their joy in listening and participation there is always a great pleasure.
The experience I remember with greater intensity and certainly for me one of the Ironworks. Besides the ambiance, there is definitely a great feeling with the listening audience (people in our area, not always, sits quiet, with the interest to focus on music, closing your eyes and possibly leaving carry it .... as is, in my opinion, is more rigorously in the States or in other parts ...). Officials from all over Europe and beyond ... that holds a lot of interest, I like the footage for the careful choice of songs, and that ..... just gives us great satisfaction. I reiterate, however, that each show is a new journey "through" new, different and not repeatable emotions "!
Your dream is what?

Martina : My dream is to continue to do what I do now ... that work professionally with music and that it can be a part of me every day for life ... It does not matter How .... Anyway, thanks to "her" is always magic ... I'm still working on new songs written by me with the hope of making them known to excite a day ... .. making people smile and hope to the world ... (The Funky save the world. ... ) A greeting and thanks to all ..
Simone: My dream is to never give up the handle of my guitar .... ... to continue to sing and feel the emotions, giving me in a jam session with new, other, other, ...., good artists to continue doing well, all I'm doing, carrying on even some of my songs and making them listen to the public and the "world music" in general e. ....... of course !!... Long Live Flesh & Wood perhaps with a thought directed to possible performances in Europe and ... why not in the States! With all. I love music like the rainbow after the storm, without which life would not have color! ..
